Barmston village pub offers a warm welcome, home cooked meals and a choice of fine wines and beer, and there is also an authentic Italian restaurant at the top of the village. Further along the coastline is the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington with its miles of sandy beaches, elegant promenades and historic harbour. Enjoy the funfair and donkey rides on the beach, or join a fishing boat trip or a pleasure cruise. The land train transports visitors from the town centre to Sewerby Hall and Gardens, providing a great day out with the historic collections, children’s playground, zoo and putting green. Bird lovers will enjoy RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Hornsea Mere and stately homes, which can be found at Burton Agnes and Burton Constable. Further inland are the scenic Yorkshire Wolds which inspired the famous Hockney paintings, as well as the market town of Beverley and historic city of York, which are easily accessible.
