The main accommodation is extremely spacious with a charming ground floor living room which leads to a bright and airy garden room, as well as a sitting room on the first floor which opens onto a stunning balcony with far reaching sea views. The open plan kitchen/dining room is ideal for enjoying family meals, and the enclosed lawned gardens give children and dogs a place to run and play. From the gate at the far end of the garden, visitors can take a stroll along the public footpath which leads down to the dog-friendly sandy beach.
The surrounding area offers numerous countryside walks and cycling trails, ideal for nature lovers. Barmston village pub offers a warm welcome, home cooked meals and a choice of fine wines and beer, and there is also an authentic Italian restaurant at the top of the village. Further along the coastline is the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington with its miles of sandy beaches, elegant promenades and historic harbour. Enjoy the funfair and donkey rides on the beach, or join a fishing boat trip or a pleasure cruise. The land train transports visitors from the town centre to Sewerby Hall and Gardens, providing a great day out with the historic collections, children’s playground, zoo and putting green.
